• CM Vishnu Deo Sai laid the foundation stone for Chhattisgarh’s first semiconductor plant in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.
• The plant, spread across 1,50,000 sq ft, will be developed by Chennai-based Polymatech Electronics, focusing on tech-driven growth.

Unemployment Declines Slightly, According to NSO Survey.

• NSO's PLFS report for 2024 shows slight improvements in labor force indicators, with marginal reductions in unemployment rates nationwide.
• Rural unemployment decreased from 4.3% to 4.2%, while urban female unemployment fell from 8.9% to 8.2%.
