• India is considering allowing foreign companies to take up to a 49% stake in its nuclear power plants a major policy shift for one of the country’s most protected sectors.
• This initiative is part of a larger strategy to boost clean energy production, lessen dependence on coal, and achieve ambitious carbon emission reduction goals.

HMD Global to Launch Direct-to-Mobile Phones in India.

• HMD Global, in collaboration with IIT Kanpur and Tejas Networks, plans to launch Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) phones, bypassing Wi-Fi or internet for OTT, TV, and multimedia content delivery.
• The D2M technology supports affordable feature phones, smartphones, and tablets, strengthening India's Make in India initiative.

Delhi Launches Free Rs 10 Lakh Health Cover for Senior Citizens.

• Delhi government launched the Ayushman Vay Vandana scheme, offering free health treatment worth up to Rs 10 lakh for citizens aged 70 and above.
• The scheme includes Rs 5 lakh annually for medical treatment and an additional Rs 5 lakh under Delhi’s own coverage, totaling Rs 10 lakh in health benefits.

Madhya Pradesh Gets Approval for Rs 2,100 Crore PM MITRA Textile Park.

• Madhya Pradesh has received approval for the ₹2,100 crore PM MITRA Park project, aimed at transforming the state's textile industry.
• The park will span 2,100 acres and include modern facilities like a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, solar-powered energy units, and Built-To-Suit (BTS) units.
• The project will attract investment, create jobs, and enhance India’s textile sector globally.

Finance Ministry Includes I4C under PMLA to Combat Cyber Frauds.

• The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has been authorized to share information with the Enforcement Directorate under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) to tackle cyber fraud.
• The collaboration will help trace money trails behind transnational cybercrimes using fake websites and deceptive online methods.
