India suspends Inbound Mail from Pakistan After Pahalgam Terror Attack.

• India has suspended the exchange of all categories of inbound mail and parcels from Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.
• India has banned direct or indirect imports from Pakistan with immediate effect.
• The DGFT said in a notification that direct or indirect import or transit of all goods originating in or exported from Pakistan shall be prohibited with immediate effect.

India’s total exports rise 6 per cent to all-time high of $824.9 bn.

• India’s total exports have touched an all-time high of 824.9 billion dollars in the financial year 2024-25, as per the latest data released by the RBI.
• Services exports grew 18.6 percent year-on-year to 35.6 billion dollars.
• Merchandise exports reached 437.4 billion dollars, with non-petroleum exports hitting a record 374.08 billion dollars, up 6 percent from the previous year.

ITBP creates history with first-ever CAPF ascent of Mt. Makalu.

• The Indo-Tibetan Border Police successfully scaled Mt. Makalu, the world’s fifth-highest peak.
• The 12-member expedition, part of a dual-peak mission, reached the summit with an 83% success rate.
• ITBP also advanced the Clean Himalaya - Save Glacier campaign, collecting 150 kg of waste from high-altitude camps.
• ITBP has now conquered six of the world’s 14 eight-thousanders.

AIIMS Bhopal secures 2nd rank nationwide in digital OPD registration.

• AIIMS Bhopal secured the second position for implementing a paperless and queue-less OPD registration system under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
• The Scan and Share service has generated over 1.45 million OPD tokens, streamlining patient registration.
• This initiative has reduced waiting times, eliminated queues, and improved patient convenience.
