Uttarakhand launches India’s 1st yoga policy.

• The country’s first yoga policy was launched in Uttarakhand.
• This policy has been prepared with the aim of establishing Uttarakhand as a global capital in the field of yoga and wellness.
• A subsidy of up to 20 lakh rupees is being provided for developing yoga and meditation centres in the state.

Bihar govt hikes Social Security Pensions by ₹700.

• In Bihar, the government has decided to increase the pensions of senior citizens, widows and people with disability under the Social Security Pension Scheme by 700 rupees per month.
• The beneficiaries will get enhanced pensions of 1,100 rupees from July 2025.

Rajnath Singh to Release "Wings to Our Hopes – Volume 2".

• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will release a book Wings to Our Hopes – Volume 2, based on speeches delivered by President Droupadi Murmu at a function in New Delhi.
• This curated collection of 51 speeches offers a window into the vision, philosophy, and priorities of President Murmu during her second year in office.

"Warkari Bhakti Yoga" Programme Held in Pune on International Yoga Day.

• A special Warkari Bhakti Yoga programme was organized in Pune.
• The Warkari tradition is a bhakti movement based spiritual tradition of Maharashtra, based on the teachings of saints such as Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram.
• It conveys the message of devotion, dedication and equality through the pilgrimage on foot to the Vitthal temple in Pandharpur and collective bhajans and kirtans.

Maaya Rajeshwaran clinches women’s single ITF J200 Gladbeck title.

• In Tennis, India’s Maaya Rajeshwaran has clinched the women’s singles ITF J200 Gladbeck title in Germany.
• The 16-year-old defeated Switzerland’s Noelia Manta 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
• This triumph marks Maaya’s maiden ITF Junior title on European clay.
• It is Maaya’s seventh ITF Junior title overall.
