India’s First Wildlife Corridor Built on Delhi-Mumbai Highway.

• The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has created the country’s first dedicated wildlife corridor on a national highway.
• The innovative 12-kilometre stretch, part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, cuts through the buffer zone of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and is equipped with five wildlife overpasses and India’s longest underpass built exclusively for animal movement.

Statistical Report on Agriculture and Allied Sectors.

• The National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) released the annual publication of Statistical Report on Value of Output from Agriculture and Allied Sectors (2011-12 to 2023-24).
• Gross Value Added (GVA) at current prices grew by 225%, from ₹1,502 thousand crore in 2011–12 to ₹4,878 thousand crore in 2023–24.

ESIC approves amnesty and registration scheme for its beneficiaries.

• The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation has approved the second phase of the SPREE scheme, relaunching it from July 1 to December 31, 2025, to encourage employer and employee registration.
• Additionally, the Amnesty Scheme 2025, offering a one-time dispute resolution window, will be available from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.

Kerala tops the Management Effectiveness Evaluation of national parks.

• Kerala has won the State the top position in the Management Effectiveness Evaluation (MEE) carried out by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for 2020-2025.
• Kerala is the only State to get a Very Good rating with a score of 76.22%.
• Karnataka (74.24), Punjab (71.74), and Himachal Pradesh (71.36) came next with Good rating.

Salvation Of Country Lies In Identifying People As Human Beings.

• In lauding the communal harmony exhibited by people in the border area of Hyderabad and Karnataka, the Karnataka High Court has observed, The salvation of the country lies in identifying human beings as a human being and as an Indian with the other identities playing a secondary role.
