• From July 16, 2025, all Indian government payments above ₹75 crore must be made through the RBI’s e-Kuber system.
• The goal is to improve transparency, speed, and accuracy in high-value government transactions.
• e-Kuber is an online payment platform developed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
• It allows real-time tracking, 24-hour reconciliation, and faster settlement of government payments.

MEITY signs MoU with BITS-Pilani to launch cybersecurity program.

• The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has signed an MoU with BITS Pilani.
• Purpose: To launch professional development programs in cybersecurity.

Kasaragod wins Kerala Fisheries department’s excellence award.

Ministry of Mines Launches "Aspirational DMF Programme".

Dubai to debut restaurant operated by an AI chef.

• WOOHOO, a futuristic restaurant, is in central Dubai, near the Burj Khalifa.
• While humans assemble food, everything else — from menu to ambience — is designed by Chef Aiman.
• Chef Aiman is a culinary large language model (LLM) — a blend of AI and man — trained on food science, molecular composition, and global recipes.
• The project is led by Ahmet Oytun Cakir, CEO of Gastronaut.
