Govt Launches Automotive Mission Plan 2047.

• The Government of India has launched the Automotive Mission Plan 2047 (AMP 2047).
• To make India a global leader in the automotive sector.
• Focus areas include innovation, sustainability, exports, and digital transformation.
• Milestones will be set for the years 2030, 2037, and 2047.
• Seven sub-committees formed with members from ministries, industry, academia, etc.

PM Modi announces ₹15,000 incentive for first-time private sector emp.

• PM Narendra Modi visited Motihari, East Champaran (Bihar) and inaugurated/laid foundation for projects worth ₹7,200+ crore.
• PM flagged off 4 Amrit Bharat trains to enhance regional rail connectivity.
• Announced a new employment scheme to provide ₹15,000 to each first-time employee in the private sector.
• The scheme will be effective from August 1, with an overall budget of ₹1 lakh crore.

MoTA & Coal India Join Hands to Boost Tribal Education in Chhattisgarh.

• Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) and Coal India Ltd (CIL) signed a landmark MoU to uplift tribal education in Chhattisgarh.
• The initiative will benefit 28,000+ tribal students in 68 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).
• Coal India, under its CSR initiative, has committed ₹10 crore for:
• Digital education
• Health
• Entrepreneurship programs

Amit Shah felicitates Indian Contingent for World Police and Fire Game.

• Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah addressed a felicitation ceremony in New Delhi to honor the Indian Police and Fire Brigade contingent.
• The team won 613 medals at the 21st World Police and Fire Games 2025, held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA.
• Shah announced a cash incentive of ₹4.38 crore for the athletes.
• The World Police and Fire Games is the third-largest global sporting event.

INCOIS Honored with the 2025 National Geospatial Practitioner Award.

• INCOIS received the National Geospatial Practitioner Award 2025.
• The award was presented during Open Source GIS Day (Edition 02) at IIT Bombay.
• It recognizes INCOIS’s use of open-source geospatial technologies in ocean information services.
• INCOIS has contributed significantly to marine geospatial intelligence and data-driven ocean management.
• The award highlights its important role in marine governance and environmental protection.
