EPFO Records All-Time High Net Addition of 21.89 Lakh Members in June.

• EPFO saw a net addition of 21.89 lakh members in June, marking an all-time high.
• This represents a 9.14% increase from previous figures and is the highest since payroll data tracking began in April 2018.
• Approximately 10.62 lakh new subscribers were enrolled, showing a 12.68% increase from May 2025 and 3.61% growth from June last year.

Govt approves Rs 6,982 crore for BSNL capex in 2025.

• The government has approved an additional Rs 6,982 crore as capex support for BSNL in 2025.
• This amount is in addition to the previous support provided to BSNL, totaling Rs 3.22 lakh crore.
• The previous support includes Rs 69,000 crore in the 2019 revival package, Rs 1.64 lakh crore in 2022, and the allotment of 4G and 5G spectrum worth Rs 89,000 crore in 2023.

BCCI Introduces Bronco Test to Assess Players' Fitness Alongside Yo-Yo.

• BCCI has added a rugby-centric Bronco test to measure players' stamina, speed, and cardiovascular conditioning.
• The Bronco Test involves shuttle runs of 20, 40, and 60 meters, with the goal to complete it in six minutes.
• It will be used alongside the Yo-Yo test and 2-kilometer time trial for comprehensive fitness assessment.

Iran Launches "Sustainable Power 1404" Missile Drill.

• Iran launched a two-day missile drill titled Sustainable Power 1404 in the northern Indian Ocean and Sea of Oman.
• This marks Iran's first large-scale military drill since the 12-day war in June.
• The exercise showcased Iran’s naval and missile capabilities, involving surface and subsurface warships, air units, missile defense batteries, and electronic warfare brigades.
