DPIIT, ICICI Bank Partner to Boost Startup Ecosystem.
- The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade and ICICI Bank signed an MoU to support DPIIT-recognised startups through a Startup Engagement Programme on the Startup India portal.
- Selected startups will access ICICI Bank’s Mumbai accelerator, mentorship, pilot opportunities, and investor networking.
- It aims to scale product-based startups, driving innovation and business growth.
UPI Daily Limit Raised to ₹10 Lakh for Select Categories.
- NPCI has increased UPI limits effective 15 Sept 2025: capital markets, insurance, govt e-Marketplace now have ₹5 lakh per transaction and ₹10 lakh daily cap.
- The hike applies only to Person to Merchant (P2M) transactions with verified merchants, while Person to Person (P2P) transfers remain capped at ₹1 lakh/day.
- Banks may set stricter internal ceilings as per policy.
