  • The UAE Cyber Security Council warned that 1.4+ billion accounts are hacked globally every month, citing risks from digital footprints.
  • It flagged passive (tracked data) and active (user posts) footprints as targets for phishing, identity theft, and account takeovers.
  • Users are urged to use official apps, review permissions, enable 2FA, and limit personal data sharing.


₹1,000 Cr Aid Given by Gujarat Govt. Under Namo Lakshmi Yojana.

  • The Gujarat government disbursed ₹1,000+ crore to 10.49 lakh girls under the Namo Lakshmi Yojana to support their Class 9–12 education.
  • Each beneficiary gets ₹50,000 over four years, even if covered by other scholarships, via a dedicated Namo Lakshmi portal.
  • Alongside, 1.5 lakh students got ₹161+ crore under the Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana for science studies.

PM Modi Unveils ₹6,500 Cr Projects in Assam.

  • PM Modi launched multiple projects in Darrang worth ₹6,500 crore, spanning infrastructure, healthcare, connectivity, and clean energy.
  • Key works include Darrang Medical College (₹570 cr), Narengi–Kuruwa Bridge (₹1,200 cr), and Guwahati Ring Road (₹4,530 cr).
  • Also launched were bamboo-based ethanol and polypropylene plants at Numaligarh Refinery to spur industrial growth.


Tata Builds Navy’s First Spanish "Lanza-N" 3D Radar.

  • Tata Advanced Systems installed the first Lanza-N 3D Air Surveillance Radar, a naval variant of Indra’s radar, on an Indian warship under a $145-million 2020 deal.
  • 19 more radars will be locally assembled and integrated by TASL for Indian Navy ships over the next decade.
  • The radar offers long-range air defence and anti-missile capabilities, tailored for extreme Indian Ocean conditions.
