Asia’s largest rail operations command centre unveiled at Sabarmati.

• The Sabarmati Operations Command Centre (OCC), located in Ahmedabad, is now the nerve centre for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), covering 1,506 km across five states.
• The Sabarmati OCC features Asia’s largest real-time monitoring video wall and is equipped with advanced safety features such as AI-ready systems, automated alarms, and disaster management facilities.

Piyush Goyal Launches Industrial Park Rating System 3.0.

• Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, launched IPRS 3.0 in New Delhi, marking 10 years of Make in India.
• Developed by DPIIT with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), IPRS 3.0 introduces advanced benchmarks for industrial parks in India.
• Key parameter: Sustainability, green infrastructure, logistics connectivity, digitalization, skill linkages, and tenant feedback.

India Secures Exclusive Rights for Polymetallic Sulphides Exploration.

• India has secured exclusive rights to explore Polymetallic Sulphides (PMS) in the Carlsberg Ridge, Indian Ocean, through a 15-year contract with the International Seabed Authority (ISA).
• India becomes the first country in the world to hold two PMS exploration contracts, with rights in both the Central Indian Ridge and Southwest Indian Ridge.

Piyush Goyal Launches LDB 2.0 to Boost India's Export Competitiveness.
