India Elected to Interpol Asian Committee at 25th Regional Conference.

• India was elected as a member of the Interpol Asian Committee at the 25th Interpol Asian Regional Conference in Singapore.
• The Interpol Asian Committee advises the Asian Regional Conference on issues like organised crime, cybercrime, terrorism, human trafficking, and drug trafficking.
• India’s delegation, led by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), won the election.

Official song for Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 released.

• Bring it Home, the official anthem for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, was unveiled, performed by Shreya Ghoshal.
• The 13th edition of the Women’s Cricket World Cup will be held from 30 September – 2 November 2025 in India and Sri Lanka.
• The anthem, combining Indian classical rhythms and modern energy, aims to promote women’s cricket and gender inclusivity in sports.

Ahmednagar Railway Station Renamed "Ahilyanagar".

• Ahmednagar Railway Station in Maharashtra has been officially renamed Ahilyanagar, honoring Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, one of India’s revered women rulers.
• Ahilyabai Holkar (1725–1795), queen of the Holkar dynasty, is remembered for her benevolent rule, women’s rights advocacy, and spiritual architecture.
• The station code remains ANG for operational continuity.
