• UAE has pledged $10 million through its UAE Aid Agency to enhance community resilience against natural disasters across Asia and the Pacific.
• The initiative will support the Community Resilience to Natural Disasters Programme in partnership with Emirates Nature-WWF and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
• The announcement was made at the 2025 IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi.

• India has announced a ₹6.4 trillion ($77 billion) plan to harness 76 GW of hydroelectric power from the Brahmaputra River basin by 2047 to meet rising electricity demands and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

GalaxEye to Launch World’s First Multi-Sensor EO Satellite in Q1 2026.

• GalaxEye, an Indian space-tech startup, will launch Mission Drishti in Q1 2026, the world’s first multi-sensor Earth Observation (EO) satellite.
• The satellite weighs 160 kg, making it India’s largest privately developed satellite, and features the country's highest-resolution imaging sensor.

• CM Flight is a new initiative launched by the Chief Minister of Assam aimed at empowering the youth of Assam to pursue global careers.
