Indian Navy Partners with IIT-Delhi to Enhance Quality of Life on Ship.

• The Indian Navy has signed an MoU with IIT-Delhi to enhance the Quality of Life on naval ships through design interventions.
• The collaboration will involve IIT Delhi and the Directorate of Naval Architecture (DNA) in creating a research and design centre focused on ship design improvements.
• The initiative may extend to the mercantile marine and other Indian maritime sectors.

Ahmedabad Recommended as Host City for 2030 Commonwealth Games.

• Ahmedabad in Gujarat has been recommended as the host city for the 2030 Commonwealth Games, a significant development for Indian sports.
• The announcement was made during the Executive Board meeting of Commonwealth Sport, with the Games set to coincide with the centenary celebration of the Commonwealth Sport Movement.

PM Narendra Modi inaugurates multiple development projects in Kurnool.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth ₹13,430 crore in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
• The projects cover sectors including industry, power transmission, roads, railways, defence manufacturing, and petroleum and natural gas.
• The projects aim to bolster technological, energy, and infrastructure capabilities in Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

Ola Electric Launches "Ola Shakti" Battery Energy Storage System.

• Ola Electric has launched its first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), named Ola Shakti.
• Ola Shakti is a modular and scalable system designed for applications ranging from residential and commercial use to large grid-scale deployments.
• The system is built on the Bharat 4680 lithium-ion cell, Ola’s proprietary battery platform, produced at its Ola Gigafactory.

Bajaj Finserv AMC Launches "Pay with Mutual Fund" via UPI.

• Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Company (AMC), in collaboration with Curie Money, has introduced Pay with Mutual Fund, a first-of-its-kind feature merging mutual fund investments with UPI payments.
• The system lets investors scan UPI QR codes and pay directly using their liquid mutual fund units, which are redeemed in real time and routed via their bank accounts.
