- Uttar Pradesh achieved a Guinness World Record by lighting 26,17,215 diyas across 56 ghats of Ayodhya, including the Ram Ki Paidi, during the 9th Deepotsav celebration.
- A new record was also created as 2,128 Vedacharyas performed Maha Aarti and recited Vedic shlokas on the banks of the Saryu River.
NITI Aayog, DP World Launch "We Rise" to Empower Women-Led MSMEs.
- NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP), in collaboration with DP World, launched the "We Rise – Women Entrepreneurs Reimagining Inclusive and Sustainable Enterprises" initiative to empower women-led MSMEs for global expansion.
- The initiative is part of WEP’s Award to Reward (ATR) framework, aiming to support 100 high-potential women entrepreneurs.
ADB Signs $3 Billion Exposure Exchange Agreement with World Bank.
- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed a $3 billion sovereign exposure exchange agreement (EEA) with the World Bank, aimed at boosting ADB’s lending capacity for developing member countries.
- This is ADB’s first EEA with the World Bank and the sixth such agreement with other multilateral development banks since 2020, bringing the total exchanged amount to $9 billion.
