  • The Supreme Court, headed by Justice Surya Kant, described the rise in digital arrest scams as a huge challenge, with victims - mostly elderly - suffering losses of over ₹3,000 crore.

  • Uniting more than 300 indigenous and local groups, the Response Caravan began a 14-day journey from Sinop (Mato Grosso) to Belém (Para) on November 4, 2025, ahead of COP30.

Odisha issues SOP to make agricultural equipment women-friendly.

  • The Odisha government on November 4, 2025 released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for ergonomics testing of farm implements specially designed for women farmers.
  • It aims to design equipment that reduces strenuous work, pain and health issues, as more than 50% of women farmers suffer from musculoskeletal disorders due to male-centric equipment.
  • This SOP, based on pilot projects under Shri Anna Abhiyaan, will guide the testing of existing/new agricultural equipment.
