India to Cross 1 TW Power Capacity by 2034–35: CEA Blueprint.

• Central Electricity Authority submits National Electricity Plan projecting installed power capacity >1 terawatt by 2034–35 (from ~505 GW today), with rolling annual planning up to 2070.
• 2047 mix targets ~2,100 GW RE including 1,200 GW solar & 400–450 GW wind; also 100 GW nuclear & pumped hydro.
• Push for faster grid readiness, standardised workforce development to meet 7–8% demand growth.

India Sees Record RE Growth; 1.5 Lakh Rooftop Solar Units for Odisha.

• India achieved the highest-ever annual non-fossil capacity addition at 31.25 GW in FY25–26, with 24.28 GW from solar; solar now ~130 GW.
• India emerges as a key driver in global clean energy growth despite its large coal base.
• Odisha to get 1.5 lakh rooftop solar units (1 kW each), benefiting 7–8 lakh people under the utility-led model.

Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala to Host Admiral’s Cup 2025.
