Indian Scientists Develop Multi-Target Alzheimer’s Therapy.

• INST Mohali (DST) developed a nanoparticle-based therapy for comprehensive Alzheimer’s treatment, addressing disease progression & cognitive decline.
• EGCG, dopamine & tryptophan integrated in EDTNPs, overcoming limits of single-target conventional treatments.
• Simultaneously targets amyloid buildup, oxidative stress, inflammation & neuronal degeneration, key hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease.

India’s Unemployment Drops to 4.7% in November.

• Unemployment Rate: India’s UR fell to 4.7% in November, the lowest since April, for persons aged 15 years and above (MoSPI).
• Rural–Urban Split: Rural UR declined to 3.9%, while urban UR eased to 6.5%, matching this year’s lowest level.
• Workforce Participation: LFPR rose to 55.8% overall; rural LFPR at 58.6%, urban at 50.4% (CWS basis).

Miyana Railway Station Wins National Energy Conservation Award 2025.

• Miyana Railway Station, Guna (MP) received the National Energy Conservation Award 2025 from President Droupadi Murmu.
• Recognised as Best Transport Category unit, saving 9,687 electricity units using LED lights, BLDC fans and smart lighting systems.
• Award by Bureau of Energy Efficiency highlights Indian Railways’ commitment to energy conservation, cost efficiency and eco-friendly operations.

Army MoU to Fast-Track Indigenous Drone Systems.

• Indian Army signed an MoU to boost indigenous drone capabilities for land systems, coordinated via 515 Army Base Workshop, Secunderabad.
• Emphasis on IC engine-based drones and GPS-denied environment operations, aligned with Atmanirbhar Bharat goals.
• Partnership enables faster evaluation-to-induction, reduces import dependence, and accelerates deployment of unmanned systems.

India–ADB Sign $2.2 Billion Loan Agreements.

• India and Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed five loan agreements worth $2.2+ billion to support key development projects.
• Funding covers PM Skilling & Employability (ITIs – $846 mn) and Rooftop Solar Programme ($650 mn) under national priorities.
• Sectoral Support: Loans also back Assam healthcare (ASTHA), Chennai Metro Rail Phase-2, and ecotourism & agri-livelihoods in Meghalaya.
