India Post Launches Gen Z–Gen G Post Offices.

• Jammu & Kashmir inaugurated its first Gen Z Post Office at AIIMS Vijaypur, marking India Post’s push to modernise campus post offices into youth-centric, tech-enabled service hubs.
• AIIMS Vijaypur became the first AIIMS in the country to host a Gen Z Post Office.
• Karnataka also launched its first Gen G Post Office at Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.

IDFC FIRST Launches Global Savings for NRIs at GIFT City.

• IDFC FIRST Bank introduced the IDFC FIRST Global Savings Account in USD and Euro for NRIs via GIFT City, distinct from domestic and NRI savings accounts.
• The account offers full repatriability, zero remittance fees, TDS-exempt interest, and the ability to hold funds without currency conversion risk.
• Includes 4.75% interest on USD balances, monthly compounding, and digital global transfers.

India–Oman CEPA Expands Trade Footprint.

• India and Oman signed a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in Muscat during PM Narendra Modi’s visit to deepen trade, investment and services cooperation.
• Oman granted zero-duty access on over 98% tariff lines, covering nearly 99% of India’s exports.
• With bilateral trade crossing $10.6 billion in FY25, the pact strengthens India’s economic presence in the Middle East with Oman.

Unified Logo Unveiled for Regional Rural Banks.

• NABARD and GoI launched #OneRRBOneLogo initiative to give all 28 Regional Rural Banks a single, unified brand identity.
• The move follows the One State One RRB reform, integrating 26 RRBs across 11 States/UTs to strengthen efficiency in rural banking.
• The new logo symbolises progress, nurturing and enlightenment, reflecting RRBs’ role in trust, growth and empowerment of rural India.

Singapore Changi Airport Named World’s Best 2025.

• Singapore Changi Airport topped Travel+Leisure India’s Best Awards 2025, ranking highest globally for overall travel experience, comfort and passenger facilities through reader votes.
• The airport impressed travellers with sky-lit terminals, indoor gardens, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, seamless layouts and attractions that ease long layovers.
