Indian Team Wins Top Honour at NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025.

• A Chennai-based team, Photonics Odyssey, won the Most Inspirational Award at NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge 2025 for a satellite internet concept.
• The proposal features a sovereign phased-array satellite network aimed at expanding broadband access to over 700 million unconnected people in India.
• NASA’s 2025 hackathon saw 1.14 lakh participants across 551 events in 167 countries.

IIT-Bombay, Vertiv Partner on AI Data Centre Cooling.

• IIT-Bombay has partnered with digital infrastructure firm Vertiv to develop advanced cooling solutions for AI-driven data centres.
• The collaboration targets efficient management of higher power consumption from GPUs as AI adoption accelerates across Indian enterprises.
• The project begins with a 40-kW liquid cooling dry cooler, to be tested at IIT-Bombay and Vertiv’s Pune facility.

Delhi Metro Museum Opens at Supreme Court Station.
