Perfios Gets UIDAI Offline Verification Seeking Entity Certification.

• Perfios secured OVSE certification from Unique Identification Authority of India, joining 17 authorised firms for Aadhaar-based offline identity verification.
• Enabled consent-driven, privacy-first verification via Aadhaar QR or mAadhaar without accessing UIDAI’s central database.
• Facilitated instant, paperless KYC across fintech, hospitality & education, enhancing efficiency & data security.

ADB Approves $182M for Assam Flood Resilience.

• Asian Development Bank cleared $182M for Assam’s Brahmaputra flood and erosion management, scaling total project to ~$487M with state support.
• 63.5 km riverbank works, pro-siltation, wetlands restoration and embankment upgrades to protect 600,000+ vulnerable residents.
• Funds also back flood-risk mapping, early warning systems and women-focused livelihood initiatives through 2029.

NITI Aayog Releases Trade Watch Q2 FY26.

• NITI Aayog launches 6th Trade Watch Quarterly; Q2 FY26 exports up ~8.5%, services outperform goods amid global moderation.
• Electronics focus: exports near 5x rise since 2016 to $42.1 bn; India’s demand CAGR 17.2%, mobiles lead growth.
• Push for component manufacturing via ₹40,000 cr scheme; e-commerce may drive 20–30% of merchandise exports by 2030.

Govt Cuts Toll on Partly Open Expressways.

• Centre amended National Highways Fee Rules, 2008; partially operational National Expressways to charge toll at normal NH rates, not 25% higher.
• Move aims to boost usage of opened stretches, ease congestion on parallel highways and improve logistics efficiency.
• National Highways Fee (Amendment) Rules, 2026 effective from Feb 15; valid up to one year or till full operation.

MoES–Puducherry Pact on Blue Economy.

• Ministry of Earth Sciences signed MoU with Puducherry govt to advance marine research, coastal resilience and blue economy initiatives.
• Pact covers marine fisheries, offshore wind, desalination, ocean climate advisory and shoreline protection.
• Agreement signed by Secretary M Ravichandran and Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan to drive climate adaptation and sustainable development.
