- Supreme Court earlier mandated:

- 30% reservation for women in bar councils.

India Launches QR-Based Verification for Census 2027 Field Enumerators.
- India launched a QR-code verification system for nearly 30 lakh census enumerators.
- Residents can verify officials by scanning QR codes on enumerator ID cards.
- First phase of Census 2027 runs from 1 April to 30 September 2026.
- Digital system includes mobile apps and a centralized data management platform.
- Ensures secure identification of field staff in residential and gated communities.
- Self-enumeration portal allows citizens to submit data online using unique IDs (piloted in Noida and Ghaziabad).
1st-ever Regional Cooperative Reform Conference held in Aizawl, Mizoram, under "Sahkar se Samriddhi".
- Ministry of Cooperation organized the Regional Conference on Cooperative Reforms in Aizawl under the Sahkar se Samriddhi vision.
- Aim: Strengthen cooperative institutions, especially in the North-East region.
