APEDA Ships First Consignment of Jharkhand’s Amrapali Mangoes to the UK.
- The first commercial consignment of 1.5 metric tonnes of Amrapali mangoes from Jharkhand was exported to the United Kingdom.
- The mangoes were sourced from Beura Farmer Producer Company Ltd., an all-women FPC in Simdega district.
- The export was facilitated by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
- Amrapali is a hybrid mango variety developed by crossing Dasheri Mango and Neelum Mango.
Neelkanth Mishra Named India’s Executive Director at the World Bank.
- Neelkanth Mishra appointed as India’s Executive Director at the World Bank on 5 June 2026.
- He will serve a three-year term at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Larsen & Toubro Commits ₹18,600 Crore Investment in Tamil Nadu.

- Data centres (₹15,000 crore): Planned in Kancheepuram for cloud, AI, and data storage infrastructure.
