Digital India Celebrates 11 Years of Growth with Record UPI Transactions.

• Digital India Programme completed 11 years on 1 July 2026.
• UPI processed 24,162 crore transactions in FY 2025–26 (from 2 crore in FY 2016–17).
• Recognized by IMF as the world’s largest real-time payment system.
• UPI is operational in 8 countries including UAE, Singapore, France, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka.
• DigiLocker crossed 850 crore documents; UMANG App serves around 12 crore users.
• Domestic mobile phone manufacturing share increased to 48% in 2025 from high import dependence in 2014.
• 12 semiconductor projects approved for commercial manufacturing in India.
• India signed MoUs with 24 countries for cooperation on India Stack and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI).

• FCRA 2.0 Portal to streamline FCRA compliance and monitoring.
• Features Aadhaar authentication, e-Sign, and OCR facilities.
• Integrated with PAN, NGO Darpan, and ICAI UDIN.
• e-OCI Card launched for 50 lakh+ OCI cardholders.
• Enables digital identity verification and eliminates repeated physical OCI booklet issuance.
• Monitors around 14,500 FCRA-registered organisations.

Uttar Pradesh Begins Second Phase of School Chalo Abhiyan.

• Launched by Yogi Adityanath in Saharanpur for the 2026–27 academic session.
• Aim: Achieve 100% enrolment of eligible children in government schools.
• Focus areas: Identifying out-of-school children and re-enrolling dropouts.
• Involves parents, School Management Committees (SMCs), communities, and public representatives.

IIT Madras and Government Join Hands for Corporate Mitra Scheme.

• Ministry of Corporate Affairs signed MoU with IIT Madras and professional institutes on 25 June 2026.
• Aim: Create trained para-professionals to help MSMEs with business and regulatory compliance.
• Training: 150 hours online learning via SWAYAM Plus + 6 months on-the-job training.
• Covers accounting, taxation, banking, finance, and legal practices.
• Eligibility: Indian nationals up to 30 years, graduates or final-year students.
• Course fee: ₹3,000 + GST; 50% concession for women and special regions.
• Partners include IIT Madras, IIT Pravartak, SWAYAM Plus, ICAI, ICSI, and ICMAI.
