Indian Mission Unveils Online Consular Services Portal in the UAE.

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has launched a dedicated online appointment portal for Passport, Visa, and Attestation services across the UAE.
Applicants can book appointments online for services at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai.
The portal aims to streamline and simplify the appointment process.
A revised passport fee structure came into effect on July 1, 2026.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has notified Navi Mumbai Airport as an authorized port for the import of drugs.
Rule 43A of the Drugs Rules, 1945 has been amended to include Navi Mumbai Airport as a notified drug import port.
The total number of notified drug import entry points in India has increased to 42.
The decision was taken after consultation with the Drugs Technical Advisory Board (DTAB).
The notification was issued under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
The move is expected to improve pharmaceutical logistics, facilitate drug imports, and enhance the Ease of Doing Business.
