Andaman Islands Break Guinness World Record with a 73-Foot Underwater Human Tower.

A diving team in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands set a Guinness World Record by creating the tallest underwater human stack.
The human stack measured 22.3 metres (73.16 feet).
The record was achieved at Swaraj Dweep (formerly Havelock Island).
Admiral D.K. Joshi (Retd.), Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, participated in the record attempt.
Swaraj Dweep is home to Radhanagar Beach, a Blue Flag-certified beach.
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a Union Territory (since 1956), with Port Blair as the capital and Barren Island, India's only active volcano.

Kerala launched the Priyadarshini Scheme to provide free bus travel for women from June 15, 2026.
The scheme covers women of all age groups and income categories.
Initially applicable only to KSRTC ordinary bus services.
Estimated annual cost to the state is around ₹800 crore.
Introduced under the Indira Guarantee welfare initiatives.

India announced a $2.5 million contribution to UNRWA as the first tranche of its annual $5 million assistance for Palestine refugees.
Reaffirmed support for a two-state solution with a sovereign and independent State of Palestine.
Called for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and the November 2024 Declaration on the Cessation of Hostilities in Lebanon.
UNRWA was established in 1949 to provide assistance to Palestine refugees.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog on June 11, 2026, in New Delhi.

Focus areas included education, skilling, employment, health, nutrition, equity, and entrepreneurship.

Invest UP and Invest India signed a strategic partnership to boost FDI and domestic investment in Uttar Pradesh.
