- APEDA facilitated the first-ever commercial export of 22.6 metric tonnes of dried whole egg powder from Balangir, Odisha to Austria.
- The export was carried out by OVO Farm Pvt. Ltd.
- The dried egg powder is used in the food processing, bakery, confectionery, and pharmaceutical industries.
- APEDA is a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, established in 1986.
NHAI Introduces Rajasthan's 1st MLFF-Based Tolling System on NH-48.
- NHAI launched Rajasthan's first Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling system at Daulatpura Toll Plaza on NH-48.
- The MLFF system enables barrier-less toll collection using ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and FASTag.
- Vehicles can pass without stopping, reducing congestion and travel time.
- Insufficient FASTag balance triggers an e-notice; payment must be made within 72 hours.
- Failure to pay within 72 hours attracts double the normal toll fee, and repeated default may lead to FASTag blacklisting.
- NH-48 connects Delhi and Chennai and is part of the Golden Quadrilateral project.

- Ladakh has banned single-use plastics and littering across the Union Territory.
- The ban prohibits items such as plastic cutlery, cups, plates, straws, thermocol decorations, plastic flags, and thin plastic banners.
