India's 1st Startup Technology Museum to Be Set Up in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru will host India's first Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST).
The project will be designed by Heneghan Peng Architects (Ireland), selected through a global competition.
The museum will be located at the repurposed NGEF campus, Byappanahalli.
It will include Innoverse, a deep-tech incubation hub for startups and industry-academia collaboration.
First phase is targeted for completion in 2028.
The project will be developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Karnataka Technology Innovation Museum Foundation (KTIMF).

Pakistan will host the 2027 South Asian Federation (SAF) Games in early 2027.
The event aims to strengthen regional cooperation among SAARC nations.
The first SAF Games were held in 1984 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
SAARC was established in 1985 and is headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal.
SAARC has 8 member countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Paras Semiconductors signed an MoU with the Madhya Pradesh Government to establish a ₹6,200 crore semiconductor facility.
The project is a greenfield OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) facility.
It will be located in the Indore–Ujjain region of Madhya Pradesh.
The facility will focus on advanced IC packaging, including 3D/2.5D packaging, chiplet integration, and wafer bumping.
MPSeDC is the nodal agency for promoting IT and electronics in Madhya Pradesh.

Maharashtra will establish India's first AI-powered bird sanctuary at the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary (TCFS).
A ₹45-crore Eco-Nature Park will be developed to promote bird conservation and eco-tourism.
The sanctuary will feature AI-powered bird detection and monitoring, including real-time species identification and migration tracking.
Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary (TCFS) is India's first flamingo sanctuary and lies along the Central Asian Flyway for migratory birds.

Ministry of Information & Broadcasting launched the pilot phase of the 'Gems of India' Challenge for digital creators.
The initiative promotes India's Orange Economy by encouraging 1–3 minute videos showcasing district-level culture, heritage, and traditions.
Entries will be submitted through the MyWAVES section of the WAVES OTT platform.
Pilot phase submission period: 1–31 August 2026.
The challenge is supported by Prasar Bharati, My Bharat, YouTube, and Meta.
Top national winners will receive ₹5 lakh each.
