IIM-A Healthcare Summit 2026 Showcases India’s Pharma Archives.

The 3rd IIMA Healthcare Summit was held in Ahmedabad, focusing on AI-driven healthcare and Viksit Bharat @2047.
The summit highlighted AI adoption in healthcare under the IndiaAI Mission.
India Pharma Archives was unveiled by the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance and IIM Ahmedabad.
A book on India’s COVID-19 vaccine development was also released.
₹5,000 crore PRIP Scheme and ₹10,000 crore Biopharma SHAKTI were highlighted to boost pharma innovation.
AI healthcare Centres of Excellence were established at AIIMS Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh and AIIMS Rishikesh.
96 crore ABHA IDs and over 1,000 crore digital health records have been linked under ABDM.
eSanjeevani has benefited more than 20 crore patients through AI-enabled healthcare support.

PNGRB approved 3 LPG pipeline projects covering 1,800 km across six states.
The projects involve an investment of around ₹7,000 crore.
The approved LPG pipeline network will expand from 7,700 km to 9,500 km.
All three projects will be developed by GAIL (India) Ltd.
Key corridors include Telangana–Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh–Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra–Karnataka/Goa.
The pipelines will reduce dependence on road-based LPG tanker transport.
They will improve safety, supply flexibility and storage capacity.
The network will help transport imported LPG from coastal terminals to inland markets.

India and Seychelles agreed to strengthen cooperation in fisheries, aquaculture and the Blue Economy.
India’s fish production reached 19.7 million tonnes, with seafood exports worth USD 8.46 billion.
Key areas include marine aquaculture, modern hatcheries and tuna fisheries.
Both sides will focus on marine conservation and Monitoring, Control and Surveillance (MCS).
AI and digital technologies will be used for fisheries management and data systems.
India proposed an MoU and annual work plan for joint research and long-term cooperation.

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy launched the Critical Minerals Innovation Hackathon 2026 (CMiH 2026).
The hackathon supports the National Critical Mineral Mission.
It is organized by JNARDDC, Nagpur, under the Ministry of Mines.
Key challenges focus on lithium/REE prospectivity mapping and a critical minerals R&D and patent tracking system.
First prize: ₹1.5 lakh; Second prize: ₹1 lakh for each problem statement.
Idea submission deadline: September 20, 2026.
Open to students, researchers, start-ups and R&D institutions.
Winners will be announced during India Mining Week 2026.

A Chinese humanoid robot set a new 100m sprint record of 8.86 seconds.
The record was achieved at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing.
It broke the previous robot record of 9.39 seconds.
The robot’s time was faster than the human world record of 9.58 seconds.
The event showcases China’s advances in humanoid robotics and mobility technology.
The robot fell at the finish line after hitting the padded barrier.
