1. India ranked fourth most powerful military in world, China No. 1: Miltary Direct's study

• The USA, despite their enormous military budgets, comes in 2nd place with 74 points, followed by Russia with 69, India at 61 and then France with 58.
• The UK just about makes the Top 10, coming in 9th place with a score of 43
• Ultimate Military Strength Index was calculated after taking into consideration various factors including budgets, number of inactive and active military personnel, total air, sea, land and nuclear resources, average salaries, and weight of equipment.
  
  
  

2. Uttar Pradesh govt develops India’s first FPO portal

• The farmers will be able to download the necessary documents required to form the organizations directly from the portal.

3. IRDAI increases max cover under Arogya policy to Rs 10 lakh

• In order to bring more people under the ambit of health insurance, IRDAI has hiked the maximum cover under the standard health insurance plan
• The insurance regulator has made it mandatory for insurers to offer a sum insured between Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh under the Arogya Sanjeevani policy as against the previous range of Rs 1 to Rs 5 lakh

• The Indian Style Wrestling Association of India was formed in 1958 and has been in existence for about 60 years.
• Indian Style Wrestling is a traditional indigenous sport which is played on mud, unlike professional wrestling, which is contested on the mat.
