1. Andhra Pradesh to launch India's first govt-run ambulance network for animals

• Launched mobile ambulance clinics for animals, one mobile clinic to be deputed in every assembly constituency, i.e., 175 mobile ambulance veterinary clinics to be established.
• These mobile ambulances shall provide veterinary first aid services along with spot diagnosis and attending to emergency cases.
  
  
  

2. POWERGRID Launches Certified E-Tendering Portal “PRANIT”

• This portal will lead to less paperwork and ease of operation, making the tendering process more transparent
• It has been certified by Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification Directorate (STQC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

3. Naval project of ‘Extension of Jetty’ at Naval Wharf inaugurated

• The 230-meter long jetty is one of the larger marine infrastructure projects being undertaken at Andaman and Nicobar Command both in terms of magnitude and technical complexity.
• The jetty will enable mooring alongside the Floating Dock and will significantly boost the ship berthing and maintenance capability of the Tri-Service Command.
  
  
  

4. Odisha celebrates 100th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s first ever visit to state

• On the occasion, Union Minister Sanjay Dhotre digitally released a commemorative postage stamp on 100 years of the first visit of Gandhiji to Odisha.
• A public function had been organised for the purpose in the historic city of Cuttack.
• The First Day Cover of the commemorative postage stamp released today portrays Swaraj ashram at Cuttack where Mahatma Gandhi had stayed during his first visit to the state on 23rd March 1921
