NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 Mission is ‘Go’ for Launch April 22.

• Crew-2 mission astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur of NASA.
• Along with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Akihiko Hoshide, and
• ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Thomas Pesquet.
• These crew will head the space station for a six-month science mission in the Dragon spacecraft.

Priyanka Mohite becomes 1st Indian woman to scale Mt Annapurna.

• Mt Annapurna, the 10th highest mountain peak in the world.
• Priyanka Mohite hails from Satara in western Maharashtra.
• Mount Annapurna is a massif in the Himalayas located in Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres.

MMA India appoints Amit Jain as Chairperson of the Board.

• Jain will be responsible for steering MMA’s endeavours to innovate and transform modern marketing in India.

"India Open badminton tournament 2021" stands postponed due to surge in COVID-19 cases.

• The tournament was scheduled to be held at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall in New Delhi from May 11-16.
• The 2021 edition was already scheduled to be held in a biosecure bubble with no spectators and media.

'Andhra Pradesh' launched "Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme".

• The plan is to provide scholarships to all students who are not able to pay their fees due to financial burden.
• It aims to provide fee reimbursement to more than 10.88 lakh students of the state.
• CM recently released rs 672 crore for fee reimbursement as first tranche.
