European Space Agency launched the "EnVision" mission to Venus.
- EnVision is an ESA-led mission contributed by NASA.
- It is likely to be launched sometime in the 2030s.
- The EnVision Venus orbiter, which will provide an overall view of the planet from its inner core to its upper atmosphere,
- To determine how and why Venus and Earth evolved so differently.
- NASA selected two missions to Earth's nearest neighbor, Venus.
- DAVINCI is short for "Deep Atmosphere Venus Investigation of Noble gases, Chemistry, and Imaging".
- VERITAS is short for "Venus Emissivity, Radio Science, InSAR, Topography, and Spectroscopy".
