India and US signed project agreement for air-launched unmanned aerial vehicle.

• India's Defense Ministry has signed a project agreement with the US Department of Defense for cooperation in the development of Air-Launched Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (ALUAVs).
• This project agreement for ALUAV is under the overall framework of Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI).
• This also includes collaboration between Air Force Research Laboratory, Indian Air Force and DRDO in the process of co-development of ALUAV prototypes.

Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the 24th meeting of the Financial Stability and Development Council.

• The meeting focused on various mandates of FSDC including financial stability, financial sector development, inter-regulatory coordination, financial literacy etc.
• The platform was set up by the Govt of India to strengthen and institutionalize mechanisms
• To maintain financial stability, enhance inter-regulatory coordination and promote the development of the financial sector.

The foundation stone of India's 1st electric vehicle charging station has been laid in Meghalaya.

• State-run Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has started work on setting up the 1st electric vehicle charging station in Meghalaya.
• The company has laid the foundation stone for the 1st ever Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) at its office premises in Laplang, Shillong.
• The EVCS is being developed under the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid) and Electric Vehicles (FAME) India Scheme Phase-II.
• Under this scheme, POWERGRID will develop 11 EVCS in Shillong city (5 public EVCS and 6 in government establishments).

The 28th edition of the bilateral naval exercise SIMBEX between the Indian Navy and Singapore has concluded.

• The 28th edition of the 3-day Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) concluded in the South China Sea.
• SIMBEX is the longest uninterrupted bilateral maritime exercise of the Indian Navy with any foreign navy.
• INS Rannvijay, INS Kilton and INS Kora participated in the exercise of the Indian Navy.
