Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak launches space startup "Privateer Space".

  • Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak has joined hands with Ripcord Inc. founder Alex Fielding to announce a new space company, Privateer Space.
  • Privateer will be a private company whose mission will be to keep space safe and accessible to all mankind.



G. Kishan Reddy laid the foundation stone for the development of "Parashuram Kund" in Arunachal Pradesh.

  • The project under the scheme Development of Parshuram Kund, Lohit District Arunachal Pradesh was approved by the Ministry of Tourism in January 2021 at a cost of Rs 37.88 crore.
  • The approved components include intervention near parking area, tourist information centre, rain shelter, kiosk, intervention near mela ground, view point, souvenir shops, water supply line, approach road, food court/prasadam centre, etc.

Gordon Brown has been appointed WHO's ambassador for global health funding.

  • The World Health Organization (WHO) has appointed Gordon Brown, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, as its Ambassador for Global Health Financing on September 20, 2021.
  • As an ambassador, Brown will continue to work to enhance and support the work of WHO to raise global awareness of the great need for global health financing, particularly from G20 and G7 countries.



Cooperation Minister Amit Shah addressed the first "National Cooperative Conference" in New Delhi.
