Kiren Rijiju inaugurated India's first Sports Arbitration Center in Ahmedabad.

• Union Minister of Law and Justice, Shri Kiren Rijiju inaugurated India's first Sports Arbitration Center in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
• The Sports Arbitration Center of India (SACI) will act as an independent body to fast track disputes in the sports sector and act as a mechanism for redressal of sports related issues.
• SACI will be promoted by Ahmedabad-based SE TransStadia Pvt Ltd and all legal support will be provided by the Ministry of Law and Justice.

Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary took over as the "Chief of the Air Staff (CAS)".

• Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary assumed charge as the new "Chief of the Air Staff (CAS)" on 30 September 2021. He is 27th CAS.
• He will succeed Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria.
• Prior to this appointment, he served as the 45th Deputy Chief of the Air Staff with effect from July 01, 2021 in place of Air Marshal Harjit Singh Arora.
• Air Marshal Sandeep Singh has been appointed as the new and 46th Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) with effect from October 01, 2021.

Indra Nooyi launches her memoir "My Life in Full: Work, Family, and Our Future".

• Former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi has released her memoir titled My Life in Full: Work, Family, and Our Future.
• The book is published by Hachette India.
• The book is about Nooyi's life's journey from a middle-class girl from Chennai to becoming the global chief executive of PepsiCo in 2006, and her success in the corporate world.

The Ministry of Labor and Employment in collaboration with Microsoft launched the Digi Saksham program.

• The Ministry of Labor and Employment in partnership with Microsoft India has launched Digi Saksham programme.
• It is a digital skilling program to enhance employability of youth by providing them digital skills.
• Digi Saksham will be implemented in the region by Aga Khan Rural Support Program India (AKRSP-I).
• It aims to benefit more than 3 lakh youth in the first year.
• Under this initiative, the jobseekers registered on National Career Service (NCS) Portal will be able to access training on topics like JavaScript, Data Visualisation, Advance Excel, Power Bi, HTML, Programming languages, software development fundamentals, Introduction to coding, etc.

Shiv Nadar, Mallika Srinivasan to be conferred with the 2021 Global Leadership Award.

• The US India Business Council (USIBC) has selected Shiv Nadar and Mallika Srinivasan as the recipients of its 2021 Global Leadership Award.
• Shiv Nadar is the Founder and Honorary Chairman of HCL Technologies Limited.
• Mallika Srinivasan is the Chairman and Managing Director of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE).
• Both will be honored at the 2021 India Ideas Summit to be held on October 6-7, 2021.
• Nisha Desai Biswal is the President of USIBC.
