Annapurna idol stolen from UP back from Canada after 100 years.
- An idol of Goddess Annapurna, stolen from Varanasi nearly 100 years ago and later found recently in Canada.
- It is set to return to its rightful place and will adorn the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.
- Its height is 17 cm, width is 9 cm and thickness is 4 cm.
- The idol, which reached Delhi, will be taken to Aligarh, from where it will be taken to Kannauj on 12th November and then a day later to Ayodhya on 14th November.
- After this the idol will be taken to Varanasi on November 15. Will be taken to Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
- The return of the Annapurna idol comes after several such antiquities were identified and returned to the country over the years.
Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia launched e-GCA.
- Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya M Scindia has launched GCA (e-Governance in Directorate General of Civil Aviation).
- The project is aimed at automation of processes and functions of DGCA, with 99 services, around 70% of DGCA work being implemented in the initial phases, and 198 services to be covered in other phases.
- It is a single-window platform and will bring in significant changes – eliminating operational inefficiencies, etc.
NPCI Bharat Bilpay ties up with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.
- National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has tied up with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance its subsidiary NPCI Bharat BillPay to offer ClickPay facility to the latter's customers.
- ICICI Prudential Life Insurance claimed that it is the first insurance company to offer ClickPay facility to its customers, which helps them pay renewal premiums with ease.
- In order to provide an automated and valuable insurance premium payment experience, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance will generate the ClickPay link and share it with the customers which will redirect them to the payment page containing the payment details.
- This convenient and secure two-step process will help customers to enter premium amount, remember premium payment dates and pay bills without the hassle of going through tedious steps to make payments.
The President confers the rank of "General of the Indian Army"to the Nepal Army Chief.
- In continuation of a tradition that began in 1950, Nepal's Army Chief General Prabhu Ram Sharma was awarded the honorary rank of General of the Indian Army by President Ram Nath Kovind.
- Nepal had conferred the honorary rank of General of the Nepal Army to Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane during his visit to Kathmandu in November last year.
- Nepal is important to India in terms of its overall strategic interests in the region, and leaders of the two countries have often noted the age-old Roti Beti relationship.

Hardeep Singh Puri unveils the statue of Maharani Laxmibai at Hisar College.
- Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hardeep S Puri unveiled the statue of Rani Lakshmi Bai at Maharani Laxmi Bai Women's College, Bhiwani Rohilla, Hisar (Haryana) through video conferencing.
- Describing Rani Lakshmi Bai as a prominent symbol of rebellion against the suppression of the British Raj, the Minister said that her life has been an inspiration to generations of nationalists and Indian women who fought against the British for India's independence with the utmost bravery, skill, and force against British rule.
