NASA launched the world's largest telescope, James Webb Space.

NASA's $10 Billion Telescope The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is a space telescope developed by NASA with contributions from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
The next decade's revolutionary world-first space-science observatory of its kind will capture the oldest galaxies that formed during the formation of the early universe.
The new telescope will help scientists investigate the structures and origins of our universe and our place in it.
It has been won for creating a free, cloud-based application to help schools and universities manage data.
The telescope will peer back in time over 13.5 billion years to see the first galaxies born after the Big Bang.
It will be the biggest telescope ever launched into space with a total mass of 6200 kg.
Webb can see water vapour in extrasolar planet atmospheres.

Indian skier Aanchal Thakur has won a bronze medal in the International Ski Federation (FIS) alpine skiing competition in Montenegro.
She finished third with a total time of 1:54:30.
With this, Aanchal has become the first Indian ski athlete to win two medals at the international level.
She had earlier won a silver medal at the 2018 FIS Alpine 3200 Cup in Epifenyuvon, Turkey and was just 2 seconds ahead of Aanchal.
Croatia’s Dora Ljutic (1:50.61) won the gold medal while Cyprus skier Georgia Epiphaniou (1:52.71) clinched silver.

Vice President, M Venkaiah Naidu released the book titled The Turnover Wizard – Savior of Thousands, autobiography of Arup Roy Chowdhury, former CMD of NTPC Limited and NBCC (India) Limited.
The book consolidates lessons from the life of Arup Roy Chowdhury and brings out management lessons from his life.
The book has also been endorsed by E Sreedharan, The Metro Man of India.

Indian Army has launched WhatsApp-like instant messaging application named ASIGMA (Army Secure Indigenous Messaging Application).
A state-of-the-art, new generation web-based application provides robust security measures to protect chats.
It is a new generation web-based application which has been developed completely in-house by a team of officers of Signal Corps of Army.
ASIGMA is being rolled out as a replacement for the Army Wide Area Network messaging application which is being used for the last 15 years.
The application is shipped on Army-owned hardware and will cater to the Army from this time forward, lending itself to lifetime support with future upgrades.

Paytm Payments Bank has partnered with peer-to-peer remittance company MoneyGram to enable direct international fund transfers to Paytm Wallet.
Under the partnership, MoneyGram users overseas can now transfer money to any full Know Your Customer (KYC)-compliant Paytm Wallet.
MoneyGram transactions in India received digitally account for almost 50 per cent of all transactions received in the country.
This is MoneyGram's first mobile wallet partnership in India.
MoneyGram transactions received digitally in India currently represent about 50 per cent of all transactions received in the country.
The number of transactions sent directly to bank accounts is almost six times higher from just 10 per cent two years ago.
