India ranks 4th in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2021/2022 report.

  • The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GeM) 2021/2022 report unveiled at the Dubai Expo, India ranks among the top five easiest places to start a new business.
  • The survey of Indian respondents, who answered questions on their entrepreneurial activity, attitude towards entrepreneurship and attitude of their local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • It has been found that 82 per cent of the people feel that starting a business is easy, placing India at the 4th position globally.
  • Saudi Arabia tops it, followed by the Netherlands and Sweden.

Nitin Gadkari inaugurates long rail-cum-road bridge over river Ganga in Bihar.

  • Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar jointly inaugurated the 14.5 km long Rail-cum-Road-Bridge in Bihar.
  • The much-awaited bridge has been constructed over river Ganga on NH 333B in Munger region of Bihar.
  • The cost of the Rail-cum-Road-Bridge project is Rs 696 crore.
  • The new bridge will reduce travel time, boost tourism, agriculture as well as create employment opportunities.
