UP government launched "Sambhav" portal to resolve public grievances related to energy and urban development.

• Minister for Energy and Urban Development Arvind Sharma has launched the SAMBHAV (Systemic Administration Mechanism for Bringing Happiness and Value) portal.
• The portal has been launched to monitor public grievances, programs, schemes, projects and policies of the Urban Development and Energy Departments of Uttar Pradesh.
• SAMBHAV will help in resolving public grievances swiftly and effectively.
• The Portal also has the facility of videoconferencing and teleconferencing for dialogue with the concerned officers.

Sangeet Kalanidhi Awards announced for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022.

• The Music Academy announced Sangita Kalanidhi award winners for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022.
• The physical festival could not be conducted in the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Noted vocalist and teacher Neyveli R. Santhanagopalan has been selected for the award for 2020, mridhangam maestro Tiruvarur Baktavatsalam for 2021 and violinists Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and his sister GJR Vijayalakshmi for 2022.

India’s first Olympic Values Education Programme in Odisha.

• India’s first Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) was launched in Odisha.
• The OVEP was officially launched by Naveen Patnaik (Odisha CM), Nita Ambani (IOC Member) along with other members.
• This programme will be integrated into the school education system of Odisha.
• The programme is being developed in partnership with the Department of School and Mass Education (Odisha) and the Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust.

UAE becomes first Gulf state to record case of monkeypox.

• The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become the first Gulf state to record a case of monkeypox.
• The Czech Republic and Slovenia also reported their first cases, joining 18 other countries to detect the virus outside its usual African base.
• Outbreaks of the virus have been found in Europe, Australia, and America.

Uttarakhand government will now use drones in healthcare.

• Uttarakhand has become the first Indian state to roll out drones in the healthcare sector.
• Redcliffe Labs, a unit of Redcliffe Lifetech in the U.S., has come up with its first commercial drone flight in the country’s healthcare sector.
• The company has recently opened its commercial drone corridor between Uttarkashi and Dehradun.
