Song on Millets featuring PM Modi nominated for Grammy award.

• A song on millets featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been nominated for a Grammy award in the best global music performance category.
• The song Abundance in Millets celebrates the International Year of the Millets, which was declared by the United Nations this year.
• It is composed by Mumbai-born singer-songwriter Falguni Shah and her husband and singer Gaurav Shah.

New Delhi to host 33rd Conference on World Animal Health.

• 33rd Conference of World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Regional Commission for Asia and Pacific to be held New Delhi.
• Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Parshottam Rupala will inaugurate the four day conference.
• The decision to host this event was made during the 90th General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the WOAH in Paris in May 2023.

4th edition of BONGOSAGAR-23, 5th edition of CORPAT held at Vizag.

• The 4th edition of the Bilateral Exercise between the Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy, BONGOSAGAR-23, and the 5th edition of Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) by the two navies were held at Visakhapatnam.
• Indian Navy Ships Kuthar, Kiltan and Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Dornier participated in the exercise.
• CORPAT-23 also included the maiden Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief drills.

Ayodhya Deepotsav sets world record by lighting over 22 lakh Diyas.

• In Uttar Pradesh, Ayodhya Deepotsav has set up world record by lighting over 22 lakh Diyas.
• More than 22 lakh 23 thousand diyas where lighted on Deepotsav at 51 ghats of Ayodhya, including the Ram Ki Paidi.
• Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Cheif Ministers, several other cabinet ministers and ambassadors of 52 countries graced the event.

First chikungunya vaccine, Ixchiq, approved by US FDA.

• Ixchiq, the first chikungunya vaccine, has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for individuals 18 years of age and older who are at increased risk of exposure to mosquito-borne virus.
• Containing a live, weakened version of the chikungunya-causing virus, Ixchiq is administered as a single dose by injection into the muscle and may cause symptoms in the recipient.
