- The song Abundance in Millets celebrates the International Year of the Millets, which was declared by the United Nations this year.
- It is composed by Mumbai-born singer-songwriter Falguni Shah and her husband and singer Gaurav Shah.
New Delhi to host 33rd Conference on World Animal Health.
- 33rd Conference of World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Regional Commission for Asia and Pacific to be held New Delhi.
- Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Parshottam Rupala will inaugurate the four day conference.
- The decision to host this event was made during the 90th General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the WOAH in Paris in May 2023.

- The 4th edition of the Bilateral Exercise between the Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy, BONGOSAGAR-23, and the 5th edition of Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) by the two navies were held at Visakhapatnam.

First chikungunya vaccine, Ixchiq, approved by US FDA.
- Ixchiq, the first chikungunya vaccine, has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for individuals 18 years of age and older who are at increased risk of exposure to mosquito-borne virus.
- Containing a live, weakened version of the chikungunya-causing virus, Ixchiq is administered as a single dose by injection into the muscle and may cause symptoms in the recipient.
