• PM Modi announced while addressing the gathering at the Ahlan Modi diaspora event in Abu Dhabi.
• More than 1.5 lakh Indian students are studying in UAE schools.
• The master's course was started at the IIT Delhi campus in Abu Dhabi last month and a new CBSE office will be opened soon in Dubai.

Ministry of Defence surpasses Rs 1 lakh crore mark in online orders.

• The Ministry of Defence surpasses the Rs 1 lakh crore mark in total order value through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
• In the current financial year, transactions worth around Rs 45,800 Crore have been awarded.
• GeM has facilitated over 5.47 lakh orders for MoD.
• CEO of GeM, P. K. Singh praised MoD for being the first central government entity to achieve this milestone.

PM Modi to lay foundation stone for Bharat Mart in Dubai.

• PM Narendra Modi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Prime Minister of Dubai, laid the foundation stone of Bharat Mart.
• This initiative, to be constructed by DP World, marks a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between India and the UAE.
• Bharat Mart aims to provide a platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises from India to expand their reach to international markets.

Uttarakhand to launch India's first Helicopter Emergency Service.

• India's inaugural Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) to operate from AIIMS in Rishikesh.
• The new Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) would operate under project Sanjeevani.
• Once operational, helicopters will be stationed at AIIMS Rishikesh, covering a 150 km radius.
• This will ensure timely transportation of accident victims and patients from hilly terrain to AIIMS.

Haryana Police is first force to use drones for tear gas.

• Haryana Police becomes first in India to employ tear gas drones.
• Tear gas shells deployed via unmanned aerial vehicles at the Punjab-Haryana border.
• Drones provided by Drone Imaging and Information Service of Haryana Limited.
• The drones are designed for surveying infrastructure projects, monitoring of agriculture and horticulture crops, and surveillance of sensitive areas.
