BSF K9 dog wins first position at All India Police Duty Meet.

• A Border Security Force dog belonging to the Indian dog breed Mudhol Hound, created history by winning first place in the All India Police Duty Meet (AIPDM).
• The AIPDM was organized in Lucknow from February 12th to 16th, BSF's K9 bagged the first position with the indigenous dog breed Mudhol Hound named Riyaa, handled by constable Ashok Kumar Kumawat.

Panvel gets ₹650 cr for India’s largest training centre.

• Panvel sees major infrastructure development with PMC's ₹650 crore projects and the state government's investment of ₹1700 crore for the country's largest training center.
• The State Government allocates ₹26 crore to PMC this year via the District Planning Committee, set to increase to ₹36 crore in the next fiscal year.

IIT Roorkee & EIL collaborate to drive research and innovation.

• Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) and Engineers India Limited (EIL) joined hands intending to enhance innovation and research in areas of green technologies.

Andhra Pradesh govt partners with edX for higher education courses.

• The Andhra government and edX, an e-learning platform, signed an agreement to offer world-class higher education courses to the youth.
• The agreement paves the way for more than 12 lakh students to pursue 2,000-plus edX online courses offered by the world's top-notch universities.
• The AP govt is the first in the world to sign a MoU with the edX to make available high-end emerging courses.

• The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal launched Sagar Aankalan guidelines.
• Sagar Aankalan Guidelines aim to enhance Indian ports' performance through mapping, benchmarking, and harmonizing standards with global benchmarks.
• GMIS 2023 emerged as one of the largest maritime summits globally, with an investment commitment of ₹10 lakh crore.
