• According to the latest Hurun Global Rich List 2024, Mumbai has overtaken Beijing to become Asia's billionaire capital, with 92 billionaires residing in the city.
• Mumbai is now the fastest-growing billionaire capital in the world, adding 26 in the year and taking it to third in the world and Asia's billionaire capital.
• New Delhi broke into Top 10 for first time.
• China witnessed a decline.

Kashmir Valley: Asia’s largest Tulip Garden opened for public.

• In the Kashmir Valley, Tulip Garden, one of the biggest in Asia, was officially thrown open for the public.
• This year the garden will bloom with 17 lakh flowers of different varieties with a boast of five new flower varieties this year.
• It is located on the foothills of the Zabarwan mountain range and banks of majestic world-famous Dal Lake.

Gujarat govt. launched "Shikha Reform" online learning platform.

• In a significant move towards modernizing education, Gujarat's Minister of State for Education, Praful Pansheriya, launched the online learning platform, Shiksha Reform.
• Shikha Reform is a collaborative effort with Microsoft and a leading Finnish university and is poised to deliver high-quality courses.
• Students can access their courses forever, without any time or other constraints.

Asteroid named after Indian Scientist Professor Jayant Murthy.

• The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has bestowed a rare honour upon Indian scientist Professor Jayant Murthy by naming an asteroid after him.
• The IAU is responsible for naming small objects in the Solar System.
• The asteroid was previously catalogued as 2005 EX296.
• It was discovered in 2005.
• It orbits the Sun between Mars and Jupiter approximately every 3.3 years.
