UPI transactions set new record, scale 14.04 Billion peak in may.

• UPI transactions in May reached 14.04 billion, valued at 20.45 trillion rupees, marking the highest since its inception in 2016, with a 49% year-on-year volume increase and 39% in value.
• IMPS transactions also grew, with 558 million transactions worth 6.06 trillion rupees in May, experiencing a yearly increase of 12% in volume and 15% in value.

Virat Kohli received ICC ODI Player of the Year 2023 award.

• Virat Kohli received the ICC ODI Player of the Year 2023 award and he was also named in the ICC Men's ODI Team of the Year for 2023.
• Kohli has let the Indian cricket team win 2011 Cricket World Cup, 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and captained India to win ICC Test in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
• Kohli bagged the Arjuna Award in 2013, Padma Shri in 2017, and Khel Ratna award in 2018.

Helen Mary, 1st woman brigadier in Pakistan from minority community.

• Dr. Helen Mary Roberts from the Pakistan Army Medical Corps has made history by becoming the first Christian woman to be promoted to the rank of brigadier in Pakistan.
• Brigadier Dr. Helen has been serving as a senior pathologist in the Pakistan Army for 26 years.

National Level Coordination Committee met on Major Grain Storage Plan.

• National Level Coordination Committee (NLCC) convened its first meeting to discuss the world's largest grain storage plan, aiming to convert PACs into Multi-Service Societies.
• The pilot project has launched in 11 states.
• The initiative, led by the Ministry of Cooperation, involves FCI, NABARD, and NCDC, with plans for national expansion and efficient linkage of storage facilities.

Zupee partnered with Gurugram Police for Cyber Security Program.

• Zupee, a skill-based Ludo platform, collaborated with Gurugram Cyber Police for 11th Cyber Warriors Cyber Security Summer Internship Program aiming to bolster the cyber security ecosystem.
• The program, a flagship since 2013, received 15000 applications with 1100 interns selected globally.
• Training under Cyber Security Expert Dr. Rakshit Tandon, it targets students and professionals over 18.
