All govt buildings to be solarised by 2025 under PM Surya Ghar Yojana.

• The PM Surya Ghar scheme mandates 100% solarisation of all government buildings in India by 2025, with ministries instructed to use rooftop solar systems via CAPEX or RESCO models.
• Public Sector Undertakings will assist in deploying rooftop solar, with NHPC and Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited already signing a pact for implementation.

Airbus and Tata to launch first made-in-India H125 helicopter by 2026.

• Airbus, in collaboration with Tata, will set up a Final Assembly Line for H-125 helicopters in India, with production starting in 2026 and an initial output of 10 helicopters per year.
• Airbus is aiming to produce up to 50 helicopters annually.
• It is enhancing its presence in India for helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with investments in digital and engineering capabilities.

Nobel Prize winner Rigoberta Menchú Tum won Gandhi Mandela Award.

• Nobel Peace Prize laureate Rigoberta Menchú Tum received the Gandhi Mandela Award 2020 on Nelson Mandela's 106th birth anniversary.
• The award recognizes her efforts in promoting the values of Gandhi and Mandela, particularly in community service and social development, and honors her lifelong advocacy for Indigenous rights.
• The award includes a gold medal, a pine wood box, and a certificate.

NSIC, Drone Destination partnered to launch Drone Training Centre.

• National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and Drone Destination have partnered to establish a drone training centre at NSIC, New Delhi, focusing on skill development, employment generation, and empowering the drone ecosystem.
• The centre will offer training in drone technology, repairs, maintenance, data processing, remote pilot training, and sport drone soccer.

Telangana CM launched ₹1 Lakh Assistance for Civil Services Aspirants.

• Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy launched the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam scheme to provide ₹1 lakh financial assistance to Civil Services aspirants who qualify for the Mains.
• The scheme, funded by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL), will benefit around 400 candidates annually, focusing on SC, ST, OBC, Women, and EWS categories with family incomes below ₹8 lakhs.
