Ministry of Tourism developed country's 1st ever Intellectual Property.

• The Ministry of Tourism introduced its first nationwide Intellectual Property, Dekho Apna Desh, People’s Choice 2024, to identify top tourist attractions in India across five categories: spiritual, cultural heritage, nature, wildlife, and adventure.
• This initiative aims to enhance tourism by promoting cultural preservation and exploring hidden gems, with top attractions.

IIT Guwahati and Airbus partnered to boost aviation education.

• IIT Guwahati and Airbus India have signed an agreement to enhance aviation and logistics education in Assam, aligning with the UDAAN Scheme.
• The collaboration aims to address skill gaps, foster innovation, and contribute to socio-economic growth in the northeastern region.
• Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized the partnership's role in developing a skilled workforce.

IIM-K and RBIH partnered to boost FinTech innovation.

• Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) and Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) have signed a memorandum of understanding to drive FinTech innovation and research.
• The partnership aims to create a robust ecosystem for FinTech startups, enhance cutting-edge research, and foster entrepreneurship in India's financial technology sector.

Randhir Singh to be First Indian President of Olympic Council of Asia.

• Randhir Singh was officially named the first Indian President of the Olympic Council of Asia at the 44th General Assembly.
• A former shooter with multiple Asian Games medals, Singh has history in sports administration, roles with Indian Olympic Association and OCA.
• Singh has been honored with Olympic Order, various OCA, ANOC recognitions.
• In 1979, he was conferred with the Arjuna Award.

Uttar Pradesh Wins "Top Achiever" in Business Reforms.

• Uttar Pradesh govt bagged the Top Achiever status in two categories of the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2022 announced in New Delhi.
• Under BRAP 2022, a total of 352 reforms were recommended, covering different aspects of business regulation and citizen services.
• 261 action points focused on improving the business environment.
• 91 aimed at enhancing citizen-centric services.
