Pakistan to Build Largest Nuclear Power Plant.

• Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) approved the construction of the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit 5 (C-5) with a capacity of 1200 MWe.
• The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission applied in April, submitting a Preliminary Safety Assessment Report and other safety and operational documents.
• The plant will be the country's largest nuclear facility for electricity generation.

Sevdalinka: Bosnia’s Ancient Love Song Gained UNESCO Recognition.

• Sevdalinka, a 16th-century melancholic love song blending South Slavic oral poetry and Ottoman music, was added to UNESCO’s National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
• Folk musician Enes Salman and award-winning artist Damir Imamovic played key roles in preserving and globalizing Sevdalinka.
• Traditional performances have brought Sevdalinka to international audiences.

DPIIT Partnered with boAt to Support Startups.

• DPIIT signed an MoU with boAt to mentor and support DPIIT-recognized startups in D2C and manufacturing sectors.
• The collaboration focuses on innovation, prototype development, and international expansion guidance.
• The initiative aims to strengthen India’s vision of becoming a global hub for manufacturing and entrepreneurship.

Pramveer Singh Becomes Youngest ISL Starter.

• Pramveer Singh of Punjab FC debuted as the youngest Indian Super League starter at 17 years and 189 days in a match against Mohun Bagan.
• Despite a 1-3 loss, he impressed with four interceptions, one block, one recovery, and a 79% passing accuracy.
• He surpassed the previous youngest starter by 47 days.

Gujarat CM Launched SWAR Platform to Bridge Language Barriers.

• Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel launched the SWAR (Speech and Written Analysis Resource) platform on Good Governance Day, December 25, 2024.
• Developed with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's Bhashini Team, SWAR integrates Speech-to-Text features on the Gujarat CMO website.
• It aims to improve ease of living by addressing language challenges using advanced technology.
