Mukhi Becomes First India-Born Adult Cheetah at Kuno.

• Mukhi, a female cheetah born at Kuno National Park, will turn 915 days old on, marking the first successful transition from birth to adulthood in India’s cheetah reintroduction programme.
• Project Cheetah, launched on September 17, 2022, aims to reintroduce cheetahs to India after more than 70 years of their extinction.

BSF Launches AI and GIS-Powered Decision Support System.

• Border Security Force (BSF) has introduced an AI and GIS-powered Decision Support System (DSS) at its headquarters to enhance security along Pakistan and Bangladesh borders.
• The DSS integrates real-time data, predictive analytics, and GIS data, offering commanders a comprehensive view for strategic decision-making.
• Inaugurated by: BSF Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary.

Delhi to Inaugurate Asia’s Largest Wastewater Treatment Plant in Okhla.

• Delhi Jal Board is set to inaugurate Asia’s largest wastewater treatment plant in Okhla.
• The project, built with JICA funding, spans 40 acres and costs ₹1,161.18 crore.
• The plant will serve 40 lakh residents in South Delhi and is equipped to generate power and produce A-class sludge after sewage treatment.

India to Mandate Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System for EVs.

• India will mandate the installation of the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) for electric vehicles (EVs) starting October 1, 2027, to enhance road safety.
• The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has proposed that electric cars, buses, and trucks must be equipped with AVAS to alert pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users.
• This move brings India in line with global norms.

Pabitra Margherita to Inaugurate "Best of India" Fair in Moscow.

• Union Minister of State for Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, will visit Moscow, Russia from 1st to 3rd October 2025.
• During the visit, he will inaugurate the Best of India – Indian Apparel and Textile Fair, aimed at expanding Indian exporters’ presence in the Russian and CIS markets.
• These discussions aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, industry, and textiles.
