India Joins Anthropic’s Project Glasswing to Advance Claude Mythos AI.

India is among 15 countries granted access to Claude Mythos, an advanced cybersecurity AI model.
Project Glasswing (launched in April 2026) aims to protect critical digital infrastructure in sectors like banking, communications, and public services.
Claude Mythos can analyze large codebases, detect hidden security vulnerabilities, and generate proof-of-concept exploit code for security testing.
Access is restricted to approved organizations to prevent misuse.
Participating organizations have already identified 10,000+ high- or critical-severity vulnerabilities.
Key partners include Apple, Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, and the Linux Foundation.

e-Jagriti, the AI-enabled consumer grievance platform of the Department of Consumer Affairs, won the Silver Award for Digital Transformation at the National Awards for e-Governance 2026.
Awarded under the category Government Process Re-engineering by Use of Technology.
Launched on 1 January 2025, it unified four legacy consumer dispute systems into a single platform.
Achieved a 90.75% case disposal rate since its launch.
Features include AI chatbot, voice-to-text, and multilingual support.

The first commercial consignment of 1.5 metric tonnes of Amrapali mangoes from Jharkhand was exported to the United Kingdom.
The mangoes were sourced from Beura Farmer Producer Company Ltd., an all-women FPC in Simdega district.
The export was facilitated by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Amrapali is a hybrid mango variety developed by crossing Dasheri Mango and Neelum Mango.

Neelkanth Mishra appointed as India’s Executive Director at the World Bank on 5 June 2026.
He will serve a three-year term at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C.
He succeeds Parameswaran Iyer.
He currently holds key roles in UIDAI and the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM).

Larsen & Toubro signed a ₹18,600 crore MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The investment aims to develop data centres, electronics manufacturing, and shipbuilding projects.
Data centres (₹15,000 crore): Planned in Kancheepuram for cloud, AI, and data storage infrastructure.
Electronics manufacturing (₹2,500 crore): Facility in Coimbatore expected to generate jobs.
Shipbuilding (₹1,100 crore): Expansion at Kattupalli to strengthen maritime and offshore wind supply chain.
The projects are expected to create around 8,200 jobs and support Tamil Nadu’s long-term economic growth goals.
